Michael
Admit: Northwestern Kellogg, Dartmouth Tuck
While having my free consultations with various admissions consultants, Sam stood out above the rest. I had a non-traditional post-MBA goal, and due to what I assume was a less than clear articulation of that goal, other consultants had suggested that I instead go for consulting post-MBA, which is a well-established target industry for MBAs.
Sam was different. He understood me, encouraged me, and instilled in me the confidence to stay true to my goals in the application process. What followed was many hours on Zoom of him getting to know every aspect of my life, and guiding me so I could craft an articulate and compelling narrative that was both reflective of what I wanted to do with my career and easy to understand.
Ultimately I was admitted to Kellogg, Tuck, and a couple other T15 programs, despite having a lower-than-average GMAT score for those first two.
If you also have a vision for your life, but are struggling to articulate it in an easy-to-understand narrative that would appeal to an MBA admissions comittee, I couldn’t recommend Sam enough. He was an excellent thought-partner and over many months of meeting became a friend that I looked forward to talking to multiple times a week.
